Set up your practice
Add your consultation locations. Registered clinic relationships require mutual approval. Independent locations need the required identity/contact details before patients can request appointments there.
Bring your consultations, clinic relationships and patient records into one working space.
Why MedKid Connect?
One account supports clinic work, direct appointments and approved video consultations, with clear control over your own practice details.
Your profile shows your specialty, qualifications, Doctor ID and available consultation options. Approved video consultations also let patients consult you without travelling to your practice.
Keep your registered clinic relationships and eligible independent setups in one account. Patients choose a named place, helping you see exactly where they expect their appointment.
Set the relevant availability, clinic sessions and booking limits using the existing controls. Direct appointment requests remain flexible: accept the proposed time or suggest an alternative for the patient to agree.
Use Prescription without prior booking for a patient already with you. Choose any setup from your own added list or add a new unregistered clinic, hospital or medical setup. Free status changes fee treatment, not your ability to prescribe.
Create digital prescriptions and use the applicable paediatric growth, vaccination and newborn discharge sections when needed. The existing clinic/visit branding and patient access rules continue to apply.
Review video earnings and available payout actions, plus clinic-wise amounts received or still to collect. Use the available reports instead of mixing clinic settlements with platform-paid video earnings.
Choose Doctor, then Create an account. Verify your contact details and complete the registration screens, qualifications, medical registration, required photo/documents and payout information.
Add or link the clinics where you consult. Registered clinic associations need approval from both sides. Add independent setups with the required registration contact and location details for eligible direct booking.
Review consultation fees, clinic agreements, video availability and practice schedules. Clinic bookings follow their saved rules; direct-booking hours are guidance. Admin controls the applicable platform fees and Free grants.
Check your dashboard for clinic/video appointments and direct requests. Accept a direct request or propose another time; the patient must agree to a changed time before the related payment step.
Open the correct patient's visit, consult and issue the prescription. For a patient without a booking, start the dedicated prescribing flow and confirm the setup. Complete any relevant newborn discharge details.
Return to your records for follow-up care and review available earnings/export/payout actions. Keep clinic settlements and video payouts separate, and update your availability when your plans change.
Add your consultation locations. Registered clinic relationships require mutual approval. Independent locations need the required identity/contact details before patients can request appointments there.
For a patient you see directly, choose any setup from your own list or add a new unregistered clinic, hospital or medical setup in the form. Free status affects fee treatment, not your ability to prescribe.
Accept a direct appointment or suggest a new time for the patient to agree. Save the prescription for the correct visit. Video availability and approval are managed separately from clinic relationships.
Your account stays pending until the MedKid Connect administrator approves it — usually within a working day. At approval the administrator decides whether your patients pay the platform fee (FREE or not) and whether your MedKid Connect booking page is switched on.
Dashboard → Plan & billing shows your plan — Free, pay-as-you-go or annual membership — the fee per prescription, your wallet balance and your receipts (tax invoices).
Use the “Write to MedKid Connect” form on the MedKid Connect home page. You receive a reference (CM-…) at once and the team replies on WhatsApp or e-mail.
Write to MedKid Connect →Take in-clinic bookings with serial numbers at every clinic you sit at, consult by video from anywhere — and keep the large majority of every fee.
Open MedKid Connect, choose Doctor and tap “Create an account” — the entry page opens on its “Register” tab with “I'm a doctor” already picked (already registered? tap “Sign in”). Enter your “WhatsApp mobile number”, tap “Send code on WhatsApp” and type the one-time code; “Continue with Google” or an emailed code are offered too — no password. You then land on the “Doctor area” — tap “Register as a doctor” to open the registration form. Once registered, signing in always opens the correct dashboard.
The form is split into short steps (“Step n of total”) — fill each screen and tap “Next” (or “Back” to revise): About you → Fees & contact → Consultation types → Availability (shown when you offer video) → Photo & documents → Bank & identity → Declaration. You'll add your qualifications, medical registration number, consultation fee, the clinics you consult at (by name and WhatsApp number — a clinic already on MedKid Connect gets your request to approve, others get a free WhatsApp invite in your name), and payout details (bank/UPI, and optionally PAN, GSTIN, Aadhaar). The revenue share is spelled out on “Fees & contact” — “You keep 75% — platform commission is a flat 25%”. Under “Consultation types” your “MedKid Connect booking page — always on” is pre-ticked, and you can tick “I'd like to consult at the MedKid Care clinic”. At “Photo & documents” upload a clear profile photo (PNG/JPG, up to 5MB) — a square photo of at least 512×512px fits best; if it isn't square it is still accepted and our team crops it before it goes live. On the last step tick the declaration and tap “Create my doctor account”. A verified WhatsApp number is required for your online account — you'll be asked to add and verify one if your Google or email account does not have it yet.
Every doctor account is checked by MedKid Connect before it goes live; until then your dashboard shows “Your doctor account is awaiting approval”, and you're told on WhatsApp as soon as it is approved. At approval MedKid Connect also decides whether your patients pay the platform fee — the “MedKid Connect FREE mode” card shows the result — and normally switches on your booking page: “Your MedKid Connect booking page” with your link appears under “Practice & settings”. If you named a clinic (or a clinic registered you), bookings there open once you and the clinic have approved each other and your account is approved. Video consultations need one more look at your registration details — the card reads “Video consultations: awaiting approval” until then; clinic bookings never wait for it. If a clinic registered you on its behalf, tap “I accept the doctor terms” in the “Accept the doctor terms to start prescribing” banner before you write your first prescription.
On your dashboard tap “Manage availability” to set your “Video consultation hours” AND your “In-clinic hours” for each clinic — patients can only book what you open. For each clinic day set your hours and “Max patients/day” so the serial list never overflows (use “Bookable from” to start bookings on a later date); patients see your hours and how many serials are left. Going away? Add “Leave days” (everywhere, or at one clinic) — those dates disappear from booking and anyone already booked is told at once. Under “Practice & settings” → “My clinics”, tap “Approve” or “Reject” for clinics that add you (and see the ones you added): once BOTH sides approve and your account is approved, patients can book an in-clinic visit with you at that clinic, with a serial number.
Patients book your clinic days online and get a fixed serial. The “Today & bookings” tab on your dashboard lists them under “Offline clinic consultations” (Upcoming / Past), with your video bookings under “Online video consultations”; under “Practice & settings”, “Today at a glance” shows today's counts — “Patients today”, “Waiting”, “Completed”. The clinic's front desk marks arrivals and runs the live queue; walk-ins slot into the same queue. If you sit at the MedKid Care clinic, “Clinic console” shows today's queue so you can call the next patient, mark arrivals and write prescriptions. You just consult in serial order.
Open the correct patient visit and work through the steps — Complaint & history, Examination, Medicines, Advice and Follow-up & notes; for a child the Growth and Vaccination steps appear too, and for a newborn a Discharge summary step plus a “Newborn medicines” checklist on the Medicines step. Check “Review & issue prescription”, use “Edit this section” to correct anything, then tap “Issue prescription”. For video, join the consultation from its booking and use the same editor. For a patient without a booking, choose “Prescription without prior booking” from your dashboard or Records: enter basic patient details, choose any setup from your list or “+ Add a new setup”, and tap “Continue to prescription” — the patient confirms their own profile later. Every approved doctor can use it: FREE mode only decides whether the patient pays the platform fee, and a plan notice above the editor tells you if your own plan (“Plan & billing”) will charge you for this prescription before you issue it. An issued prescription can still be corrected for 24 hours — never charged again; after that, write a new one.
Tap “Earnings”, pick a date range, and switch between the “Online video consultations” and “Offline clinic consultations” tabs. The clinic tab shows “Earnings by clinic”: “₹… received” is what a clinic has already paid you and marked settled; “₹… to claim from clinic” is what it still owes you (you collect that from the clinic directly). MedKid Care's own clinic is listed the same way — it pays you and marks it settled. Video earnings are different: the video tab shows “To be paid” — tap “Request payout of ₹…” and MedKid Connect pays your registered UPI/bank. “Download my earnings (Excel)” on the same tab gives your CA a full statement.
“Manage clinics” opens “My clinics” — the clinics and setups you practise at, used when you write a prescription without a booking; add, edit or remove them anytime, and tap “Direct booking locations” to manage the places patients can pick for a direct appointment. Clinic partnerships live on your dashboard under “Practice & settings” → “My clinics”: approve new requests there, or tap “Leave clinic” to end one at any time (bookings stop at once; your history stays). “Edit profile” reopens your registration and “Plan & billing” shows your plan, wallet and receipts. Tap “Sign out” (top-right) when done.
Yes. You can maintain eligible independent locations, receive direct appointment requests and prescribe for patients you see directly. Video consultations have their own approval requirements.
The administrator manages the applicable defaults, doctor-specific direct-booking fees and Free grants. The existing rules determine each booking's fee; choosing a setup does not change those rules.
No. A promotional Free grant concerns the applicable platform-fee treatment. Your consultation fee and the applicable clinic agreement are separate. Check the amounts shown for each booking.
A registered clinic association requires the necessary mutual approval and booking settings. Video has its own approval requirements. A doctor-added setup must meet the direct-booking eligibility checks before patients can request it.
