A message from our Director
When I first held my daughter, everything I thought I understood about care changed in an instant.
For more than thirteen years I have worked in technology — building systems, solving problems, and watching how thoughtful design can quietly make life better. Technology has transformed almost every part of how we live, learn and connect. Yet somewhere along the way, I began to feel that healthcare — the one thing that matters most when it comes to our children — had not fully received that same care and imagination.
I believe it should. Not by replacing the human touch, but by protecting it.
MedKid Care was born from that belief. As a father, I know the quiet worry that sits with every parent late at night — the endless questions, the search for someone you can truly trust with your child. And as someone who has spent a career in technology, I also know how much of that worry eases when compassion and innovation work together rather than apart.
That is the heart of what we are building: a place where a doctor still listens without hurrying, where genuine medicines and honest advice are never in question, and where ethical medical practice is supported by technology thoughtfully designed to make the whole experience calmer, clearer and more reassuring for the people who matter most — your family.

Getting started
Step 1 — Open the online consultation
On the top menu bar, tap the “Video Consultation” button. On a phone or tablet, first tap the ☰ menu button (top-right corner), then tap “Video Consult”. This opens the MedKid Care online consultation area.
Step 2 — Sign in as a patient
Tap “Log in” (inside the ☰ menu on phones, or open “Video Consultation”), then choose “I'm a patient”. Now either tap “Continue with Google”, OR type your email and tap “Email me a code”, enter the 6-digit code we email you, and tap “Verify & continue”. No password to remember.
Step 3 — Fill your profile once
The form asks for a little at a time so it's easy on a phone: fill one short screen (your name, then contact, then age/sex, and so on) and tap the “Next” button to move on — a “Step 2 of 6” bar at the top shows how far you are. Tap “Back” any time to change something. Optional details like Aadhaar or an ID photo can be left blank. On the last screen tap “Save profile”. You only do this once — we reuse it for every booking.
Step 3b — Can't sign in yourself?
No problem. Ask the clinic, or any MedKid Care referral partner, to register you using your email. They can even book for you. You can log in later with that same email to see everything.
Step 4 — Choose a doctor and time
Tap “Browse doctors” and open the doctor you want. Booking is also one step at a time: first read the short safety note and tick it, then tap “Next”; pick a time slot shown in IST and tap “Next”; enter the patient's mobile, age and sex; then, if someone referred you, type their Referral ID in the “Referral ID (optional)” box (it never changes what you pay) and tick the consent box. Use “Back” to change anything.
Step 5 — Pay securely
On the last step tap the “Proceed to pay ₹___” button and pay with UPI, card or net-banking (Razorpay). Your slot is held until you pay; the moment payment succeeds, your booking is confirmed.
Step 6 — Join the video call
You'll get the link on WhatsApp and SMS. Open your booking and tap “Join video consultation” — the button becomes active 10 minutes before your slot.
Step 7 — Get your prescription & receipt
After the consult, open the booking and tap “Download prescription (PDF)” and “Download receipt (PDF)”. Both are saved in your account — you can download them again any time.
Step 8 — Follow-up, records & rating
Upload reports before a visit under “Medical reports”. Book a follow-up with the same doctor (often a lower fee). After a consult you can leave a star rating. To leave, tap “Sign out” at the top-right.
