You can ask MedKid Care to delete the personal data we hold about you — including information we use to contact you on WhatsApp, SMS and email. This page explains how to request deletion, what is removed, what we may be legally required to keep, and how long it takes.
Email us at medkidcare@gmail.com with the subject line 'Data deletion request', sent from the email address or mentioning the phone number registered with your account.
Patients with a MedKid Connect account can do it themselves, instantly: sign in, open your Patient dashboard and choose “Delete my account”. Your personal data is erased at once; records we must keep by law (see below) are retained against an anonymised account.
For any other account, or if you can no longer sign in, email us as above. We verify your identity before acting on any request, to protect your data from unauthorised deletion.
On a verified request we delete the personal data associated with your account — your profile and contact details (including the mobile number used for WhatsApp/SMS), uploaded identity documents, and other account information — from our active systems.
Stored files (such as ID proofs and uploaded reports) are removed from storage as part of this process.
Some records must be kept for a limited period to meet legal, tax, medical record-keeping and fraud-prevention obligations — for example transaction/payment records and prescription/clinical records. Where retention is legally required, we keep only the minimum necessary, restrict access to it, and delete it once the retention period ends.
We acknowledge your request within 7 working days and complete the deletion within 30 days, unless a longer period is required by law (in which case we will tell you).
Email medkidcare@gmail.com for any data-deletion or privacy request — it is the fastest route and lets us verify your identity before we act.
