The professional obligations you accept when providing teleconsultations on MedKid Care.
You must be a Registered Medical Practitioner with a valid NMC/State Medical Council registration. You must keep your registration and qualification details accurate and current, and inform MedKid Care of any change or suspension.
You will follow the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines and the same professional standards as in-person care, exercise your own clinical judgement, and advise an in-person visit, tests or referral where appropriate.
You will prescribe only what is legally permitted via teleconsultation and only where clinically appropriate. Prescriptions are issued under your name and registration and are electronically authenticated.
You will keep patient information confidential, access only your own patients' records, and use only your own account. Sharing account access is prohibited.
Consultation fees are collected by MedKid Care at booking. Your share (per the commission split shown to you) is settled to your registered bank account on the platform's settlement cycle.
This document is provided for transparency and is being finalised with legal review. For any query, contact MedKid Care.
